David Oller is born in Madrid, where he initiates his studies in piano and composition and subsequently his vocal training, which he concludes at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid with Juan Lomba. During this period, he interprets his firsts roles such as Belcore in L’Elisir d’amore and L’horloge comtoise in L’Enfant et les Sortilèges. He refines his skills under the guidance of renowned mentors, including Dolora Zajick, Mariella Devia, Renata Scotto, Carlos Chausson, Alberto Zedda, and Roberto Scandiuzzi.

He becomes a finalist in various international singing competitions, notably Salice D'Oro (Extraordinary Prize) and Francisco Viñas (Extraordinary Prize Fundación Ferrer-Salat). 

From 2013 to 2015, he joins the opera studio of L'Opéra national du Rhin, contributing to numerous productions and concerts with tours in theaters such as Strasburg, La Sienne, Colmar, and Théâtre de l’Athenée in Paris.

He also cultivates his concert activity, as with (showcasing) his recent performance of Brahms' Deutsches Requiem or recitals dedicated to Strauss, and concert programs notably featuring Spanish and French art song.

He debuts at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in 2016 with the world premiere of María Moliner, marking the beginning of a collaboration that continues to this day, with projects that  include titles such as Marina, Tabaré, I trè Gobbi, and the leading role in El Barberillo de Lavapiés.

He has performed at various prestigious venues, including Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, Ópera de Oviedo, Teatro Real de Madrid, Gran Teatro del Liceu de Barcelona, Festival Ticino Musica, and Festival Rossini in Wildbad. Hi works together with important conductors such as Daniele Callegari, José Miguel Pérez-Sierra, Renato Palumbo, Jordi Francés, Asher Fisch, Riccardo Frizza, Ramón Tebar, or Susanna Mälkki and renowned stage directors, including Christof Loy, Emilio Sagi, Bárbara Lluch, Olivier Py, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Paco Azorín, Fabio Ceresa, or Waut Koeken.

His repertoire includes works such as L’Heure espagnole, Les mamelles de Tirésias, Rusalka, Capriccio, Il Matrimonio Segreto, Andrea Chénier, Un Ballo in Maschera, and Gianni Schicchi. Standout debuts include Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari), the previously mentioned role of Barberillo in El Barberillo de Lavapiés (Teatro de la Zarzuela de Madrid), Guglielmo in Così fan tutte (Festival Ticino Musica), and lately the world premiere of La Regenta as Fermín de Pas (Teatro Real de Madrid).

Upcoming projects in the near future will see him making debuts at Theater Basel, Theater an der Wien, and the National Theatre of Prague (Národní divadlo).
